Welcome to Power4Vets » Veteran Training & Placement Program
The mission of the Power4Vets™ program is to help veterans start new careers in the power and energy industry. The men and women who monitor and control the North American electric power grids are a highly specialized and highly trained group of operators who shoulder a huge responsibility. The quality of their decisions affects the reliable delivery of electricity to millions of customers, the safety and lives of field crews, and the protection of equipment costing millions of dollars.
At IncSys, we believe that this important task can be fulfilled by qualifying veterans. As such, the Power4Vets program is designed to match the human talent needs of America’s electric power organizations with the skills, experience, and knowledge of United States Military Veterans. 
While many programs simply redirect veterans to job postings, at Power4Vets we provide veterans with relevant COURSEWORK, SIMULATION TRAINING, and CERTIFICATION PREP that helps our veterans get jobs and keep them.
Power4Vets students and graduates are currently working at 90+ different organizations nationwide. The Power4Vets network of participating employers is rapidly growing as companies are eager to hire qualified, trained, and NERC certified veterans.

Simulator Training with PowerSimulator
The most unique feature of the Power4Vets Program is that all participants are required to train and learn using the power industry's leading operator training simulator -- PowerSimulator™.
Over 50% of the industry's current NERC certified system operators have trained using the PowerSimulator. Through the program, IncSys is providing its Power4Vets students with the same access to this advanced level of training. By drilling with PowerSimulator, students are provided with real-life experiences that other applicants, seeking the same jobs, will not have. Power4Vets students will have a tangible knowledge of real power systems.
Three Modes of Training
Students are trained using a combination of (1) online tutorials and (2) simulator-based exercises which are delivered within a unique online Learning Management System so the students can complete the training on their own schedule. Since the goal is to pass the NERC Certification Exam, the final step of the training provides (3) NERC Certification Prep materials. By becoming NERC Certified, Power4Vets students will have an unparalleled advantage throughout the job placement process. Click here to read more about the training plan.

This network of supporting employers is an invaluable resource for our students. Power4Vets administrators help you find job openings and then help prepare you for both the application and interview processes.
