Power4Vets Program Manager
A 30 year decorated Navy Veteran, David works for IncSys as the Power4Vets Program Manager, Recruiter and Placement Agent. David is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Power4Vets program, recruiting and screening eligible Veterans, and facilitating their placement within the utility industry. Since the Power4Vets program inception in early 2012, more than 190 Veterans have benefitted. Utilizing IncSys’ placement assistance, over 106 Veterans have successfully transitioned from the military into Power Industry Careers with 63 achieving NERC Certification. 37 transferred from other jobs outside the Power Industry, and 80 Veterans already working in utility jobs received training that dramatically increased their level of knowledge enabling them to advance within their company. IncSys and the Power4Vets program were recognized at the 2013 Electric Power Industry Conference, in New Orleans, Louisiana as part of their “Veterans in Power Industry” initiative and were presented the “Faraday Award” for these efforts.
David Miranda has a Master’s Degree in Human Resources with an emphasis in Program Management from Devry/Keller, School of Business Management. His military personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3 awards), Navy Unit Commendation, Navy “E” Ribbon (5), Navy Good Conduct Medal (7), National Defense Service Medal (2), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Navy Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (8), Navy Expert Rifleman Medal, and Navy Expert Pistol Medal.
